This came up in a game the other day what is the side and/or front of a ravager? The model isn't a box or even a rectangle. Can you argue that the whole side is the side and that it doesn't even have a front?

no, you draw an imaginary square around it, then trace the lines from the centre to the corners of the box and those are your facings.

Well venoms are 10 10 10 so it doesnt matter rofl.

Ravagers are rear 10 so you ur measuring tape through opposite corners to find the arc.

Venoms being 10 all around doesnt remove the issue; knowing what side you are in is also critical in determining if you have cover, and also if you have 3+ cover.

One solution would be to use the base for oddly shaped models that dont have well defined edges. Simply divide the base into equal 25% portions, and draw a line to the base to determine front/side.

This is absolutely correct. The model itself doesn't have to have 4 clearly defined corners, it just has to fit in an imaginary square as above.
