Just wondering, what platform will you guys be getting it for?

I myself probably both PC (for competitive play if I get into it as much as I expect) and Xbox 360 for casual games.

The Xbox, because it's made for winning.

My main problem with the console version is the player support.

Consoles up to 24 or 32, PC 64.

Who cares? If i get a good enough computer for then, pc. If not, im getting it on xBox.

64 Player battlefield games are made of all kinds of win.

not overly hyped for the dedicated (AKA: restricted) Origin support, but I supposed I can live with it if BF3 is good/ Origin is not overly intrusive.

Bought a new Laptop for this game so I will be getting it on my PC

Not decided whether I will be getting this or not yet, but if I do, it'll be on PC. I can't abide playing FPS with a controller.

I'm getting it for PS3, unless something changes and I get a pc/laptop that can run it.

PC, because the game

a) Is being made BETTER on the PC than its console counterpart.
b) Unless its and 3rd person adventure (excluding Assassins creed) games are just better on a high powered PC.
c) battlefield was made on the PC and should only be played on it.

FPS games are more competitive on PC, yes.

They are also, quite often, more fun on a Console.

I agree they are fun on Console, but not large scale team based games cause if you don't have Xbox Live or Playstation Networks BF3 multi would be very lonely, cause it might just be you and 3 freinds on a map designed for 32 players unless you are having a "who's the best sniper" war its not going to be fun. But ya FPS are great on console I love HALO 3 and reach a little bit.
