It may seem a stupid question... but...

What do you guys mean with "shenanigan" ?
I'm not english or american so I don't always understand the WH40K jargon...

Shenanigans=tricksies=tricks... kinda
I've only ever heard it in conjunction to wound or cover but usually it's playing/positioning/equipping something in a manner that is rather clever.
E.g. wound allocation shenanigans involving Ork Nobz involves equipping them all differently so you can allocate wounds to them separately because they have separate wargear. This helps because it means they need to take more firepower to kill overall.

Edit: Used in a Warhammer setting it is normally for rule bending, abusing rules loopholes, and minor cheating.

Most of the time it's legal but it's almost always underhand.

When you 'call shenanigans' on something, you are saying the person is lying or otherwise stretching the truth. It's like calling somebody's bluff in poker.

The way the people at my store say shenaningans when someone calls the store and asking if GW sells video games.
