I read that your 5th rd opponent had a record of 2-2, while your 4-0? Anyways that ig army was very painted but the list is weak.

The list works well against mine. But my opponent readily admitted it was his pretty army since this event was in driving distance. And yeah, he was 2-2 going into this game. They were suppose to pull from the 3-1's. Honestly I'd have rather play Xaereth or Tony this game since it was KP's first....Granted after you read my next mission it probably wouldn't have mattered against stupid lash

wtf is a banewolf. Alot of IG units ive never fought before and havent herd about before. Seems like a pretty cool list.

Banewolf is a 2+ Poison, AP3 Flamer tank. Pretty nasty against some things.

I enjoy reading about Hulksmash's Deathwing. At least he's not using the cheese that is Draigo.

And I never will. Since my experience with Deathwing has led me to the conclusion that a Draigo wing would be pure suicide against most players

Hulk speaks the truth...if someone has adapted to the insanity that is Feel No Pain spam, they'll eat Draigo's posse for lunch in shooting and have the leftovers for a light snack in assault.

Hulk, can I just ask, since I am currently putting together a Deathwing force myself, how your upgraded terminator squad was made up?

It looks like you have 4 terminators with TH/SS and 1 with LC which is 5. But then you also say that there is an apothecary in there, too. I thought that the Apothecary was an upgrade of one of the Terminators and if so, would you not lose either a TH/SS or LC terminator for what I assume would be the narthecium thingy and a storm bolter?

Hope I'm wrong and that you can take 5 termies and an apothecary cause that would be sweet, or have I just misread your list? Thanks!

Unlike other armies currently out there the apothecary upgrade in a DW squad does not remove the wargear that guy has. In all other armies the Apothecary is a seperate model. But with DA's it's an upgrade. Much like the banner, that's why you can still have the full compliment of normal weapons and the upgrades. Though the upgrades didn't do much for me over the course of the game.

Cool! Good to know that but I bet it changes when they bring out a new codex...

Is this the game I read about where the guy made you switch dice not because he thought you were cheating, but because he thought your dice were too hot?

If someone after a tournament game told me they just wanted me to switch dice because mine were rolling too well, I dont know how I would resist slapping them across the face-with my fist.

Nah, that was game 3 against another imperial guard player. He didn't tell me it was because my dice were to hot until after the event when he posted it on my blog
