Hey folks,
So I'm helping a friend of mine build up a 1000 point Chaos Space Marine List. After stumbling around the codex for a while, I came up with this:

Daemon Prince
Wings
Mark of Slaanesh
Lash of Submission
155 pts
[Troops]
Chaos Space Marines
Champ w/Combi-Melta, Power Weapon
Meltagun
Plasmagun
Mark of Chaos Undivided
Rhino
Havoc Launcher
255 pts
Khorne Bezerkers x 10
Champ w/Power Weapon
Rhino
Havoc Launcher
290 pts
[Heavy Support]
Defiler
150 pts
[Obliterator Cult] x 2
150 pts
Total: 1000 pts
Probably break up the Oblits into two separate groups, so they can split their fire. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, seeing as how I know very little about CSM!

Try not to mix the special weps in a unit; I'd go both meltaguns, and the Champ ought to have a Pfist. Havok Launcher?

I'd put EA on the rhino instead of the HL, as it needs to get those KBs into combat.

I would actually keep the oblits in one unit, but that's just me
Drop the havoc launchers, they aren't worth their points, even twin-linked. They fail miserably against MeQs, and you should be moving fast enough that they wont get to shoot in the first turn or three anyway.
Give the champs Fists, or at least meltabombs

Gave the skull champion from the KB's a powerfist, gave the champ from the other squad meltabombs, and dropped the HavoK launcher from the KB's rhino.

Now drop the PG for another Melta Gun, don't mix and match specials in your CSM, keep them focused. If you are worried about SM, you have a BC, 2 PC/2 TL-PG, KB w/ a PF, and a DP. Should go through plenty of 3+ saves.

if you are gonna put a weapon on the rhino of the zerks put eput a combi melta on it for popping rhinos and the like. and change the reg shaos marine second weapon to a melta gun and you should be doin fine.

Drop the Plasma Gun for another Meltagun in the CSM squad. You don't wanna mix/match special weapons. I'd drop the Power Weapon and the Meltabombs for a Power Fist.
I'd drop the Havoc Launcher from the CSM Rhino, and use the points to add Extra Armor to the Berserkers' Rhino.
