Been Around the Block

Hi everyone
I have been looking at this site for the last few weeks now and I have decided to join. I finally feel confident in my painting abilities to show off some of my models, well actually I have only painted 2 that I am happy with at the time being.
Anyway just a quick background into my wargaming past. I grew up playing Warhammer 40k (the old Rogue trader rules), Space Hulk (1st game I ever played and it was the first edition!) and Advanced Heroquest. Obviously this makes me a bit of an old timer and I can still remember White Dwarf magazine when it was under 100 issues old!
I moved on from this to play things like Warhammer Fantasy, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay and then on to the specialist games such as Blood Bowl, Gorkamorka, Space Marine (old epic game) and Warhammer Quest.
Sadly this came to an end in my late teens when I started to think about women and drinking etc. However I have recently got back into the painting side of the hobby and I am trying to get back to the standard I was previously which is why I have been lurking on this site for some time to pick up tips!
Anyway I have started another thread with a couple of pics of my models on it so feel free to have a look and give me your honest opinion!
