Subject: Which glue should I be using for finecast (resin)?

I recently got my second finecast model and attempted to glue it together with plastic glue but it didn't seem to hold.
I then tried the super glue I used for metal and that worked but will it 'melt' the resin?
not sure which one I should be using. Thoughts? other experiences?
Thanks
note: this was my second model (Ork Mek w/ KFF) as the first one (Tau Ethereal) only needed to be based.

Well all of my Forge World resin stuff (and there's a lot of it!) is glued together with GW Super Glue so I reckon they'll be fine! I'm sure Finecast's resin is slightly different to Forge World's though, but you certainly (as you've found out) won't be able to use Plastic Glue (since it works by 'melting' the plastic together and fusing it to create an almost welded bond). Super Glue is the way to go! Don't worry about melting the resin or anything like that

The GW website recommends Super glue for fine cast, and I've always used super glue on my FOW resin models with no troubles.

Plastic glue is for plastic, Polystyrene to be precise. It kind of welds the two parts together.
Only works with polystyrene. Finecast is a resin/plastic mix, so it doesn't work.
GW recommends super glue, adds that it should bond better than with metals, because of Finecasts slightly porous surface. I use 2part epoxy glue as I do with metal miniatures.

Super Glue works great. It bonds in a second or so. Really fast. Make sure you put the two pieces together how you want them, short of breaking them apart, you won't be able to reposition.
