Alright guys so this is my first battle report so be gentle. I'm the Orks and running a Kan Wall, and my friend is the hummies. Here's our armies! and since i cant figure out how to space wording and pics , i'll give you all the turn details and then pics at the bottom with caption.
We are doing spearhead, and which ever it is that each play gets one objective. sry cant remember the mission name. I won first turn.

Pregame thoughts: (Orks)
His two whirlwinds are going to lay down some hurt on my boyz, his dev squad and typhoons are going to be hell for all my mek, so all three of those things get priority1! I think i'm going to play for the win in true ork fashion this game and completely ignore my own objective and go for his. I should be able to cut the board in half with my movement and i suspect him of turtleling like the weak humie he is. I've lined everything up behind my kans and dreads with my 2 meks giving everything cover for the most part. kinda bummed about a squad of lootas i had to put in the building in my corner, excellent vantage point if he brings any rhinos around my horde to try to snag my objective, but i foresee them doing alot of standing around.
(Space Marines)
Orks....Well there is a lot of them. Kan wall has to go first then move on to the boyz. Speeders, dev squads and lascannon combat squads are going kan hunting. I need to sieze the initiative. Melta squads and libby will late push for objective.

Scout moves: Koptas, turbo boosted forword trying to get in charge range of whirlwinds.

Ork Turn 1
All mek and boyz moved forward, and then ran
Lootas in my corner as suspected were out of range of his closest combat squad. They will be defensive for rest of game
Lootas on my board edge lit up one of his whirlwinds getting two pens. saved both with cover saves from terrain.
Koptas, i decided they wouldnt get close enough to the whirlwinds so they shot at a rhino and the dev squad. then assualted each one respectivly. Immobilized rhino and tied combat with devs (no wounds)

SM Turn 1
Melta squad fired out of rhino and vaporized my kopta tha immoblized it.
lascannons open up on kans, but only shake 2
Whirlwinds fire at lootas on board edge but only kill 3 passed leadership.
Speeders opened up on a kan squad and killed one.
Libby and squad disembarked and Assaulted into the kopta/dev scrap tied combat!! one wound each, dev sgt got squished.

Ork Turn 2
Everything moved up and ran again
My lootas on board edge open up on a tact squad and killed 3 marines.
he finally killed my kopta in assault, barely....

SM Turn 2
Rembarked Libby
TERRIBLE SHOOTING. only managed to kill 6 boyz with whirlwinds and took off a couple kan CCWs.
no assaults

Ork Turn 3
Lootas finished off the combat squad they were working on with 2 more kills.
Everything moved up
Deff Dread assualted libby rhino, blowing it with no wounds caused, and my kan squads assualted his dev squad, *squish* DA BOYZ ARE GETTIN' STUCK IN!!

SM Turn 3
His now in the open libby and squad moved towards the closes mob.
Everything that could opened fire immoblizing a dread, and took a CCW off it too. The libby and squad assualted the mob, tieing combat and getting his libby squished by my power Klaw

Ork Turn 4
Everything moved forward some more and shot anything that it could I shook a speeder.
Kans assualted both whirlwinds taking a missile stack and stunning both. My mob and the newly joined dread wiped up the rest of the libby squad and consolidated forword.

SM Turn 4
Shooting immobized a dread and killed 2 kans.

Ork Turn 5
Moved kan and boyz onto objective and continued to tie up anything i could in CC

SM Turn 5
It doesnt matter they failed! lol ORKS WITH THE "W"!

All in all a great game with a great player. Please forgive the lack of details, like i said this is my first battle report and it got hard to take notes and pics while trying to crush your enemy. And the further into the game we got the less notes we took as you can see. hope you like the pics, forgive the unpaintedness of my orks, they are in progress.

Nice batrep. It always warms my heart to see a Kan wall stomp all over da beakies. Good game.

I recently played a similar battle for my first time except we forgot to roll for scatter
so all my boyz were essentially obliterated within the first 2 turns
all in all an awesome battle tho!

Next game you wont be so lucky ThunderChild. You better believe my Marines will want revenge on your Ork Filth!
