I play crimson fists vanilla marines and I just started so this might not be the perfect list but this is what I came up with

Hq-pedrokantor-175pts

Troops
-10 man tactical squad(missile launcher)-170pts
-10 man tactical squad(missile launcher)-170pts

Elite
-5vanguard veterans-125pts

Heavy support
-devastator squad(missile launcher)-150pts
-thunderfire cannon-100pts

Dedicated transport
-2 rhinos-70pts
-razorback-40pts

My only concern with this list is the lack of CQC units.please leave any comments on how I can improve this list.

Well for a crim fists army I wouldn't take vanguard. I'd drop the vanguard for sternguard. Plus Vanguard are fast, not elite....maybe you ment sternguard?

I really like this list, its pretty fluffy and looks like a crim fists army. Instead of a thunderfire, you should consider a dakka or auto/las predator. It would be more effective IMO.

Get the tactical squads a special weapon. Even if it's free. Vanguard veterans are fast attack though i think he meant sternguard which is a good choice. But they would need combi-meltas/plasmas/flamers to be really efficient. I would drop the thunderfire cannon and get a predator or at the very least spend it on upgrades. But good start.

Yeah, i'd say swap the thunder fire for a dakka pred, then use the extra 15 for combi-whateve on the sternguard!

Put a special weapon in each of your Tac Squads.

I think you meant Sternguard vets, which is a great choice w/ Kantor. Give them combi-weapons and heavy flamers. Put them in a rhino, not a Razorback. Even if there's only 5-6 in a squad. The rhino has fire points, so you can dump special issue ammo, combi-meltas and heavy flamers out of the transport w/out disembarking.

I'd drop the Devastators and the Thunderfire for Predators w/ Heavy Bolters, Dreadnaughts w/ x2 TLAC, and/or Land Speeders w/ HF & MM, in any combination. Use any leftover points on unit upgrades and extra combi-weapon Sternguard.

well thanks for the advice guys. And yes,i meant sternguards.Sorry if you guys got confused because of that.Anyway, that brings me to this new list

so yeah, thanks for the advise.I normally play with at least one devastor because they have saved my men at least a dozen times.I still have like 15 pts. Please leave any suggestions on what i should use it for

Power weapon on the sternguard sergant? Extra armor on the vindicator? Melta bombs on all 3 sergants? Just some ideas.
