Well it finally arrived and Im extremely excited to have it! Seeing as how Im on a deadline, you can expect to see this big boy built and painted (for the most part) by Saturday, though I might not get pictures up till later... I will do my best to update but it could be difficult since I have so much stuff to paint this week.

The model has alot of unexpected yet extremely awsome details, especially on Tamurkhan, and I'll be sure to post some pictures of those in a bit.

All these pictures were taken with my phone since my actual cameras memory card is still broken, but I should be getting a new one tomorrow along with some better pictures! Enjoy!

Wow, that's awesome. Can't say I like that tubey thing in the Toad-Dragon's mouth though. I'll keep an eye on this.

The tube thing has a giant tongue that comes out of it. kind of wierd, but it should be less awkword and make more sense with the tongue bit in there.

I hadn't realised just how big & impressive Tamurkhan was....Looking forward to seeing more.

It's definitely a beast, and I can't wait to have it fully painted. It should be fully built and the base should be done today, and I might even start painting but we shall see.
Im most likely going to paint the Toad in my normal WoC Troll colors, that being a somewhat dark fleshtoned skin and red scales. And Tamurkhan will probably be a very pale color or green, maybe both!
What does everyone think of that? Heres a picture of a Troll so you know the color scheme Im talking about...

Two nurglings hangin around the throne.

A giant gash in his side thats pouring out maggots, when I saw thing I flipped out just because of how awsome it is. You can also spot a nurgling hanging from a skull.

Hes got a small clawed arm growing out of his side, cant be healthy.

Not a big fan of the rider, but the toad dragon is an awesome piece. Would have been great if FW make it with rider options for all the chaos factions.

Glad to see everyone likes the model, I know there was alot of people who were iffy about it.

While putting glueing on the second leg I ran into a bit... well alot... of trouble. Without realizing it I picked up the "super thin" super glue and proceeded to use that, still not realizing it. As soon as I turn the model over, the glue spewed all over the toad dragon, covering alot of the top where all the scales are, in the front of the chains.

Luckily enough I was able to quickly get it under some water before most of the glue dried and after a quick scrubbing with a toothbrush and soapy water (I doubt the fact that it was soapy made a different) most of it came off so I got pretty lucky there. However There was one area that decided to get a bit of trouble, and Im not sure how much more I can get off.

I think it should be fine, and if nothing else I have some tricks up my sleeve to fix it.

Any chance of it being painted up soon or is the prep on this beast going to take longer?

Painting should start tomorrow or Tuesday.
The rider is a possesesd Tyrant. I guess he got into a rather nasty brawl with an Ogre, and upon being killed by said Tyrant, he took over his body.

I hope it dies in your game against James turn 1 =p Cannon balls to the face!

However, I have a quick little update, just a few pictures of the base.
Im actually priming the Toad right now and should start painting soon so hopefully I can get some pics up tonight, but I tried taking some pictures of my Chaos Dragon with my phone last night and the color just doesn't look right at all with my phone camera, but I will try.



As always, he will be painted in Nuln colors.


EDIT: Forgot I took a comparison photo of him while on the base. That Chaos Warrior is getting smaller and smaller it seems!

It would but i think the dragon itself is a nurgle exclusive, could wrong (wish i was)

how is this going? I have been interested in picking this set up.

Sorry for not updating in so long... I have yet to get a new memory card for my camera (because I have to order it online) so that has been a big set back, but I haven't done too much in terms of painting anyways as I have been rather busy. I did finish the base a while ago (the day after I posted the last pictures infact) so I will try to get some pictures of that up as soon as possible.
