Nottingham (yay!)

After a Trygon arrives, the hole it leaves can be used as an entry point for "any Tyranid infantry units (excepting those with wings)" - Nid Codex, pg50

Monstrous Creatures and Beasts "follow the same rules as infantry" - BRB, pg51

I'm reading that to say that MCs and Beasts behave like but are not Infantry, and so cannot tag-team with the Trygon.

aside: which contradicts Imperial Armour Apocalypse, in which Raveners - which are Beasts - can jump out of the Trygon's tunnel...

Monstrous Creatures are not Infantry. They may follow the same rules, but are type: MC not type: Infantry

Remember IA Trygon was made before the nid codex

Termagants, hormagaunts, genestealers, Warriors, zoanthropes, hive guard, tyrant guard, etc etc. No carnifexes, other trygons, harpies, tyrants, or tervigons/tyrranofexes etc etc.

Been out of the game for awhile, trying to find time to get back into it.
