Hi there! I've always been a Iron Warrior fan and I'm trying to figure out a way to make a decent list using C:CSM. I love Vindicators and they are both fluffy and usefull so, going with the basis that I need three of those , here's the list: (I'm doing this without my codex, so I might be off a couple of points)

HQ

Chaos Lord, Deamon weapon - 140

Elite

5 Chosen, 4xmeltaguns, 1xflamer, 1xmeltabomb - 140

Troops

5 Plague Marines, 2 meltaguns, Rhino - 170

5 Plague Marines, 2 flamers, Rhino - 160

8 Berzerkers, PF, Rhino, EA - 258

10 CSM, 2 meltaguns, power fist, IoCG, Rhino - 255

Heavy Support

3xChaos Vindicator - 375

Total: 1498

Thoughts? I know it's not the most competitive list out here, but does it stand a chance against most armies? Thanks a lot people!

If you are set on using Vindicators, you might want to take Lash princes so you can group enemy squads up and then Vindi pie plate them.

Not a bad idea. I think I'll keep that in mind for tournament play though, since I don't think Lash Prince are really fluffy for IW.

What would you suggest I change for the Prince? If I'm correct, it costs 155 pts - 15 more than the Lord. Maybe scratch the flamer/meltabomb guy form the Chosen and one flamer from the PM?

I would go for some Obliterators in that list, seeing as the iron warriors have always been fond of those cuddly balls of death and destruction.

Lash Princes are pretty savage with triple Vindicators. I'd Possess them though... you always want them to move, and you definitely always want them to shoot.

Since you have 3 Vindies idk if you need the flamer squad of PM. Just an idea. With those points you could swith it out with a Lash Prince.

You could drop a zerker and trade those 2 flamers for 2 plasma guns. PMs are a great platform for plasma with the fnp.
