Picked up a draigo finecast today, just got home and opened it up and his shoulder bad rim has a massive chunk cracked off attached to the spruce.

Any idea if gw will replace it? Or will they say i damaged it? Only thing that i did was open it, its all still attached to the spruce?

Spruce is a tree , sprue is what the plastic is attactched to , and yes so long as you have proof of purchase i believe.

Proof of purchase is, more often than not, only required if returning it to the shops proper.

GW Customer Service usually will just send out the replacement.

It all depends on how fast you want your replacement. You can return it to the shop and get a replacement(although it might not be a bad idea to open it up there in this case, since Draigo was reputedly one of the models that was plagued with serious casting issues) right then and there, or you can call them and wait maybe a week or so.

I received a copy of Draigo, from the online store, 2 days ago and it has the same problem with the shoulder pad that your describing.

Though 2 mins on the phone to customer services and their sending me a replacement straight away, free of charge. It was even dispatched the same day. Whatever other problems GW may have product replacements has always been one of their strong points.

Games Workshop has top-notch customer service and I have no doubt they will take care of this immediately. Just give their customer service number a call. 1-800-394-4263

OP has an English flag so the Customer Service number would be : 0115 91 40000 for the UK

Yes, they are second to none when it comes to that, on par with Newegg in my book. Games Workshop has it's problems but customer services has never been one of them.
