good but mabe a little to much weaponry. Remember the tau are fairly conservative as far as 40k races go.

I love the pose, but that cannon is just too big

It looks great overall, but IMO it has too much stuff in it, other than that it's great first conversion good job.

i know its got to mcuh gear on it codex wise, but it was what i was going for. just wanted a suit that had a heap of weapons on it. yeah in the pics that main weapon on his arm looks to big, but in person its more proportionate.
thanks for the coments

Pretty good first time conversion. I wouldn't say the gun is too big, I am just puzzled about why it's attached side-on. Makes it look more disproportionate, and incredibly awkward.
Nice burst.. fusion... cannon... blaster... thing

thats for the coments it was ment to be like and underslung weapon system, like how stealth teams have underslung weapons, and i wanted twin-linked burst cannons, so i put them in the piece off a piranah where the weapon goes, and tried to put it horizontal but didn't fit well. so i underslung it. like i said in person the model looks way more proportionate and balance than these photos.
thanks, my brother had the idea for a fusion blaster cannon thing lol but i made it and mounted it.
i don't think any one has noticed the flamer on main weapon yet lol

I saw it, but didn't identify it as a flamer the perspectives of the pics make that one a bit hard to see.
But yeah, if you take the ideas that went into this (e.g. the burst fusion thing) and apply them to the rest of your suits you could end up with a great looking force

I think the pose is excellent. The twin linked burst cannon would look make it look less awkward if it were on the back of the hand instead of being held underhand.
A great first conversion though.

I'd say just flip the cannons 90 degrees. That little bit you've got housing them is the base pieces that holds it on the devilfish right? Just set it up so that it's in the same position as it would be on the devilfish, only under the xv8-'s hand. you've even got a little bit there hanging off to the side you could connect it with. It'd make the model seem a bit less unbalanced I think, just mho though

thanks for the complements guys nah sorry mate, no guts. made that marine out of a spare front half of a chest, a head cut in half, one shoulder pad cut in half, and to spare arms. as for the bottom of the body, used the little piece you connect the gun drones carbines to, but cut it down a fair bit.
