Hey guys my mate recently bought the forge world greater daemon of khorne and we both had a couple questions about his rules. first of all it says that he comes into play via possesion, now if my memory serves me right that was a rule from the old chaos codex where daemons got summoned through characters thus replacing them (please correct me if im wrong) and if so does it still work this way, if not how does he come into play? second question is his movement. now i know this is a conflict of rules between old and new, because it says he has daemonic flight so moves as if he had a jumpack. this was written before the new daemon codex which states that daemonic flight is a 20" move, so does he move 12" or 20"? because it doesnt make sense that the tzeentch greater daemon has the same rule and gets 20" movement and he doesnt.

Possession is still in the CSM Codex it's how Greater Daemons enter play.

I don't recall Daemonic Flight ever being a 20" move*, it's always been move like Jump Infantry.

*In any Codex, it might have been in other FW rules.

Anyway, it sounds to me like you aren't using the most recent An'ggrath rules.

If you are using it in a CSM army, it enters by possession.

If you are using it in a Demons army, it enters like all other demons do, and can only be taken if you have a unit of Bloodletters in your army.

It has a 12" move, just like jump infantry. Demonic flight is a 12" move. The Tzeentch lord has a special rule that allows it to fly 20" instead of the normal 12", so it is an exception to the rule. It "makes sense" in that the Khorne model is a massive, bulky model, whereas the Tzeentch model is not a muscle bound monster and is more easily carried around by the winds of magic.
