For my DOC army I'm planning on having a herald of Tzeentch on a disk; but I don't know what to use as the disk. What would you suggest?

make one from a 40mm base and green stuff. I have an original disc that kind of looks like a manta ray, what the current screamers seem to be based on so no reason you couldn't use one of those either

i've seen a pair of flying bases stuck together used to great effect, they form a rather nice disc shape when combined with a little green stuff for flames etc...

You can find resin ones on eBay or I have also seen screamers used as discs just attach the herald.
(screamers are those flying fish looking ones with the giant teath right ?).

HMMMM....might combine both ideas. I think I might put 2 40 mm bases together and use green stuff to make flames round the side. Also instead of using round bases I will use square bases, because it will be different.

you could use the disc of this guy, not sure if it would look right in a daemons army (mind you the fluff behind most discs if tzeentch is that they are bound screamers, so yeh your choice end of the day =)
