Ok so i had a game against Ratwolf on saturday he had skaven i had TK so is this correct:

-I carged my warsphinx into his clanrats (which had deathmaster skinch and a warlord as well).
-I won combat resolution.
-He fleed and i pursued I suceeded in my pursuing so that whole unit died (including the characters?).

Was this correct?

Yes, that is correct. If a unit breaks from combat, nad the pursuing unit catches them, the caught unit is dead.
