Like "a woman of ill repute" and first person plural object.
Also, Paladin is "PAL uh din" and Tyranid is "TEER uh nid".
Anything other pronunciation....IS HERESY.
I'm assuming this is some kind of in-joke I'm not privy to having joined the site less than a month ago. I feel like such an outsider. I JUST WANT TO BE LOVED
Not even going to bother voting as it's "whore us". Then again, as the word is based off of Egyptian mythology, technically Greek in this case, the language is dead, so even that pronunciation could be way off...

In Vino Veritas. ("In wine there is truth.")
"If a man dedicates his life to good deeds and the welfare of others, he will die unthanked and unremembered. If he exercises his genius bringing misery and death to billions, his name will echo down through the millennia for a hundred lifetimes. Infamy is always more preferable to ignominy." -Fabius Bile
I actually don't recall hearing any newbie try to pronounce it, though I've heard some vets pronounce it "tuh-zeentch" and even heard one pronounce Khorne "crone", which secretly drove me nuts.
Did see one person write Tzeentch as "Tenessech" or something like that. Major WTF moment, but perhaps they were dyslexic.

I voted the first one, but more importantly, I call my Chimera's with a CH as in Chipmunk because that's how I roll...and also because I like watching all the nerdlingers in GW stores contort thier faces when they try not to correct the 'always right' customer!

Chimera is a big one. Kai-mera or shy-mera. Funny.
People don't know how to pronounce tzeentch? I thought it was pretty simple, same with Horus and Tyranid and Khorne and I like to pronounce chimera with the CH as well....rolls of the tongue better
In soviet dakka, you do not pronounce Horus, Horus Pronounces you.
You can't pronounce tzeench, as a god of change his pronounciation should change too.
ITS WHORE US, KORNEDAMMIT!
I think the egyptian god, whose name has generally been pronounced like that, is where the chosen son got his name. It would be more fitting if he was a loyalist, avenging his fathers death like in egyptian lore.

I've been pronouncing Sanquinis that way since he existed. I even spell it the wrong way I pronounce it.
"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."
This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

When people ask, "What's the point in understanding everything?" they've just disqualified themselves from using questions and should disappear in a puff of paradox. But they don't understand and just continue existing, which are also their only two strategies for life.
