Whore Us.

And the 'CH' in Chimera sounds off to me. I have also heard it pronounced "SHIM-air-uh" or "shim-AIR-uh" but that always sounded wrong too. Only the "kicking kuh" sounds correct to these ears.

Here's one I find interesting: how do you pronounce the word 'Waaagh!'? I have some friends pronounce it like a phoenetic scream without pronouncing the 'G' and others who pronounce the 'G'. ("WAH" rhymes with claw vs "WOG" rhymes with dog.) I pronounce it in a stage scream (like the orks in the original Dawn of War intro video, just at the same volume I am speaking at).

Or how about the last name of Garviel Loken? I pronounce it 'LOW-ken' while my old boss preferred 'LOCK-en'. Any thoughts?

Also, I like the idea of changing Tzeentch's name. If I ever play a Chaos player with Tzeentch units, I'm going to pronounce it differently every time I refer to it in "honor" of the lord of change. I wonder how long it will take before a berserk frenzy ensues?

Low-kin. It's pronounced in Army of One.

Audiobooks are also how I learned to pronounce Roboute. It's like a canadian saying about.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

Yeah......I don't like audiobooks. I can read silently faster than anyone else can read aloud, so the story progresses at an agonizingly slow rate. So, thanks for giving me the lowdown.

I always went with Malal as "muh-LAHL" and monkeigh as "mon-KEE" (first syllable like a rastafarian saying 'man' and the second like the word key but all drawn out and hissy).
