Assuming it's possible to do so (I.E. there's room) and they don't mishap or scatter out of that arc, and that they were held in reserve for that purpose to do so.

Idk, but I think he was going back to against the crisis suits, considering they weren't beaten... the lootas would lose against the crisis suits as well I believe, due to the TL Flamers.

Even so, his unit was more than 300pts more than the suits....

And in another scenario, where the Vindicator gets first shot and it doesn't scatter, what then...? I thought the point of the thread was to find an effective way to destroy the previous entry with another entry at a lower point cost?

Either way, the Vindicator is still a logical and effective way of eliminating 7 Crisis suits. That's not to say that 7 Crisis suits aren't effective at eliminating a single Vindicator, but you're nitpicking over a situation that's completely circumstantial and situational.
