Dogged Kum

I just finished building up my Island of Blood Skaven, now comes time to paint my mice. I've always thought of rats as being grey- BAM! Grey fur. I've always imagined magic to be blue- KAPOW! Blue warpstone. Regular metals are dark silver, warlock enhanced metals are a bronze color.

My question is, what color should the rags or future Stormvermin armor be to balance out the colors above? I'm not great with colors, so any help is appreciated.

I would use either a rust color or maybe even go with some drab greens. Would contrast and balance nicely I think.

I tend to go with greens/greys for plague monks, blues/greys for slaves, brown/grey for clanrats, and heavy red for stormvermin and champions/warlords. Armor should generally be silver/boltgun with rust effects.

Use light colors to paint and then hit your rats with a wash to muddy them up and darken them.
