That actually seems like a pretty solid list, IMHO.

I could foresee you having a small problem with a Deep Striking units, or Heavy Pie-plate usage, but other than that....my GK's would be shaking in their power-boots to face that army

True, although all the speed in this army at least would allow me to react quickly to deep striking units. I had a similar problem against a GK army that was almost pure deep striking...it was a challenge, but I learned taking fast units to respond to where he drops in works well.

In terms of pie plate lists, I'm hoping the wagons and 4++ from the Mek's KFF will keep the boyz safe for one turn, then turn 2 its simply move 13", dismount, Waaagh! 6", assault. Once I'm in CC his pie plates are rendered nearly useless.

I like it, I may steal it. One question though don't you want all your nobz to be different for wound shenanigans? I am seeing 2 Nob w/Big Choppa + Cybork.

Are you sure ammo runt makes a nob unique for wound allocation proposes? i thought it was a unit upgrade usable by all.

the ammo runt is given to a model, not the unit, so that makes the model unique. It is written in the ammo runt description, don't remember the page but it is in the weapons and upgrade description part of the codex, just before the army list thingy.

Seems solid. I'm only thinking here, would dropping the bopyz trukka and adding to the burna numbers and adding a grot unit be preferable?? The grots would be able to keep Objectives, and more burnas means more templates. Just a suggestion, never played a 2k list, so i do not know if grots are still good at that point level.

Still look pretty solid IMO

The ammo runt trick works.

I wouldn't drop the Grots. I'd drop the Trukkboyz. One Trukk and 4 Wagons is just gonna give your opponent a reliable target to annihilate on T1. I'd drop that squad and the Burnaz for another mob of 20 boyz, the Gretchen, and some Lootas.

You putting Ghazzy with the Nobz? I think my only critique is too much PK I'd drop 1 from the Nobz maybe 2 if Ghaz is with them, Big Choppas are nice and you could run a nob naked too. 15 Burnas would be nice extra templates and higher leadership. Boss Poles on the Boyz mob would be cool. I don't see the trukk doing much might be able to drop it and it's boyz.

Every mob that can get a Bosspole should have one. Missed that when I first scanned the list, because they're auto-include, IMO.

Will any of your games be kill points? if so your giving them away with deffkoptas! And buzzsaws are a waste of space! Strength 8 on the charge, but they have I 1 now! A group of five marines will strike it down before it can retaliate! But over all brilliant! Love the nobz group!

Buzzsaws are so good. They're one of the most reliable ways to break armor open in the codex, and the only one you can use early on in the game. I don't think Koptas are worth taking at all unless they're suicide Koptas w/ Rokkits & Saws.

And they're S7 on the charge, not 8.

Some of the rounds will most likely be kill points, there are 3 rounds total that will be played. The koptas are meant more so open transports during turn 1 or outflank later on in the game with the same intent. If necessary they will be used to knock a squad off an objective or contest an objective. I don't intend on relying on them to wipe out whole units, but rather to tie up a devastator squad or shooty dreadnought, etc. Keeping that in mind, now what are your thoughts? Is perhaps 3 too many if those are my intentions with them?

TY! My bad! That's because i never use them with a buzz saw, sorry!

Automatically Appended Next Post:
No, I just never though of them in that way! Seems a good idea now! Just be careful of a tactical squad with a bit of spare time on their hands!

Wouldn't it be awesome if it was Charge bonus, Then double strength?

Nobz would be Str. 10 on the charge! All Nobz!
