T34/85 tank: http://www.warlordgames.co.uk/12450/new-bolt-action-soviet-t3485/

A completely remastered Bolt Action T34/85 is now available! Scourge of the German Panzer divisions, this rugged, no-nonsense tank packed a very real punch. Produced in vast numbers, no serious Soviet player should be without a handful of these!

The late version of the classic Soviet T34 tank with the 85mm gun. A tank that could take on the German big cats; solid, fast, reliable and with a gun that was to be feared. The T34 was way ahead of it’s time and the 85 version kept it ahead of the game right until the end of the war.

We have completely re-mastered this model adding extra detail to the hull and new running gear and tracks.

Re-released: Sd.Kfz 251/9 Stummel: http://www.warlordgames.co.uk/12361/re-released-sd-kfz-2519-stummel/

Mounting a 75mm low velocity gun on the reliable Sd.Kfz 251 halftrack, the ‘Stummel’ (‘Stump’) gave the panzergrenadier formations excellent fire support. Our Bolt Action Stummel has been remastered and is now back on the front line! Lend your infantry some mobile AT firepower. Fitted with the short 75mm gun, the “Stummel” could take care of light armor and pound enemy held positions. As infantry support goes, the 251/9 was quite welcome. The released Stummel comes with two new crewmen, both of which have the Figure Head system of separate heads allowing you lots of variety in your force.

Pre-order: Pike & Shotte Harquebusiers: http://www.warlordgames.co.uk/12375/pre-order-pike-shotte-harquebusiers/

You can now place a pre-order for our forthcoming Imperial Harquebusiers! These metal miniatures sat atop plastic horses will add mobility and firepower to your Imperialist armies during the Thirty Years War. The sixteenth and seventeenth centuries saw the rise of the pike-armed infantryman as well as the increased firepower of black powder weapons on the field of battle. The heavy “shock” cavalry could either be fended off with long pikes or shot down, no matter how thick their armour. This change of events led commanders to rethink their cavalry tactics. As arquebuses and muskets became cheaper to make and handier to carry in their shortened form, it was found that well drilled horsemen could move quickly across any battlefield and add their fire power at a decisive point. Mounted troops thus equipped with short firearms, carbines as they were later to be called, were called harquebusiers and were raised in great quantities throughout Europe in a series of conflicts. The men were armoured where possible, and carried a good sword, but often used the Caracole tactic of discharging their carbines and wheeling away to reload whilst another rank trotted forward to give fire. On the battlefield they often supported the heavy shock cavalry by disrupting enemy charges and firing upon pike formations until they are vulnerable to a charge. Warlord’s boxed set portrays typical mounted harquebusiers of the late 16th and early 17th century, and can represent troops of many nationalities.

In each box you’ll find:

- 12 multi-part metal Harquebusiers (including command)
- 12 plastic horses
- Plastic bases
- Background guide
- SIx Full-colour flags for Thirty Years War

Pre-Order - Soviet Gaz 98 Aerosan

The Russians used aerosanis for reconnaissance and light raiding in northern areas where their light plywood skis allowed them to move quickly over the deep snow where other heavy vehicles would be unable to move at all. However they were lightly powered and so could only be used on open country or frozen lakes as they had poor hill climbing ability.

The GAZ-98 was developed in 1942 and is powered by a GAZ-M1 truck engine and is armed with a drumfed Light Machine Gun.

Our model is made from resin and metal. The crew use our Figure Heads so you can swap them with each other for more variation or you could even use other Figure Heads to create your own unique model - combining them with our Commando heads would make a great Special Ops vehicle for pulp gaming,

To ensure a lifetime on the tabletop the skis are molded onto the base, protecting them from mishaps.

I had the same thought. All I can think is that on 28mm figures they feel they have to exaggerate expressions so people can actually see them.

Which is not to say these are good but maybe that was the thinking.

And here are the rest of the new releases for this week:

New: Pike & Shotte Harquebusiers!
Adapting tactics due to the rise of the pike in battle, commanders started to employ Harquebusiers – firearm-equipped horsemen – in increasing numbers. This was certainly true of Imperialist commanders during the Thirty Years War.

Warlord’s boxed set portrays typical mounted harquebusiers of the late 16th and early 17th century, and can represent troops of many nationalities.

In each box of Harquebusiers you’ll find:
- 12 multi-part metal Harquebusiers (including command)
- 12 plastic horses
- Plastic bases
- Background guide
- Six Full-colour flags for Thirty Years War

Neu: Bolt Action Sturmtiger!
Is that a 38cm rocket projectile in your pocket or are you just pleased to see the Sturmtiger? This absolute beast is now available for you to add to your force. Got a village that needs levelling or a bunkers that needs cracking? (or is dein schwanstucke just too klein?) You’ve just found the answer… Sturmtiger

Sloped heavy armour? Check. Naval rocket launcher? Check. Building in the way? History!

The Sturmtiger is one scary looking machine of war. The original role of the Sturmtiger was intended to be as a heavy infantry support vehicle, to help with attacks on heavily fortified or built-up areas. But by the time it saw service, Germany had gone on the defensive. Still the few Sturmtigers that made it off the production line took part in such important actions as the Battle of the Bulge and Battle of the Reichswald.

Re-release: Sd.Kfz 251/10!
Adding anti-tank capability to the forces of the Panzergrenadiers, the Sd.Kfz 251/10 mounted a 37mm Pak 36 on a standard Hanomag body.

Give enemy armour something to worry about (in addition to the legions of deadly panzers) with this 251/10 halftrack. We’ve now removed the integral base from all of our Sd.Kfz 251 halftracks giving a much more pleasing look. We’ve also sculpted two new crewmen for this self-propelled gun so you get even more for your money!

Pre-order Bolt Action Japanese!

“Banzai!” A cry that caused great fear in allied troops during WW2.The Imperial Japanese army were adept in many forms of warfare, and the use of this battlecry was all part of their fierce battle tactics. They were excellent soldiers, with extraordinary willpower and devotion to their country and to their Emperor.

They smashed the British Commonwealth and American forces in the early years of the war using devastating tactics that confounded the allied troops and who had no answer to the fast moving fanatical Japanese infantryman. They were well trained and suitably equipped for their campaigns, making up for a paucity of heavy weapons with dash and raw courage that was alien to their foes

As with most armies the sections used the light and medium machine guns to lay down suppressive fire whilst their rifle armed comrades covered the gun, fed them ammunition before outflanking and then charging a rattled opponent. They made good use of the small mortars to shake up the enemy before closing in with deadly long bayonets fixed to their Arisaka rifles.

Warlord’s Imperial Japanese Army boxed set provides you with:
* Command group
* Medium Machine gun team
* Knee Mortar
* Riflemen
* Also included are full colour devotional rifle banners and battle flags.

Get a pre-order in now and you’ll be the first to have them delivered to your door.
