any reason my avatar picture isn't loading

This is not a 40k question, I mean the little picture under my name. I can't see it, and I assume that was because you just can't see your own, but I can't see it when i'm logged out either.

It's a .bmp, 42k, 120x120.

You're right, it isn't appearing under your name. I'm not sure personally, but I think you'd find more information by reading the avatars section of the DakkaDakka FAQ (http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/205120.page). Failing that, you could always private message one of the MODs.

Thanks, i'll read it after dinner.

I think it could be because it's a .bmp.

Or because my computer is weird, for no reason whatsoever a picture opening from my desktop takes about 15 seconds longer to open than if it was anywhere else on the computer. No clue why. I'm trying to upload it from desktop, who knows...

...and I say open, like in preview or open, but if I edit it so I can draw in paint, it's instant.

Well moved it from desktop and changed it to .png. Don't know which fixed it (if it did) but I can now see it in my profile.
