I consider myself an amatuer painter so thought id put some pics up here to get some advice and tips. This is my first attempt at painting a Imperial Guard Cadian model. I am after a dirty, grimy look like they've been at war for a while. Im not going to highlight my infantry models as this adds to the dirty look ( images may be a bit poor due to a crappy camera).
Looks pretty good, but I think the insignia need a little love. Also I think Guardsmen should have some kind of squad marking attached, if only so they know where to send the body bag to
