Nice and clean. Maybe a bit too much. I'd like to see some rust or weathering on the metal. I feel that it's a bit lacking as it is right now. Either way it's great to see that you made an effort instead of just painting it roughly as I feel many orks players do.

Nice model, but in my eyes it needs some weathering to be called done

I would agree. It's pretty great. I would just add the weathering as a finishing touch.

Some blood on the Axe?I did do some weathering to the tower and game it this used copper over glow. I like to think that the reason this Orks KFF works so well is because he believes its a clean working machine : )

Well, that sounds like a good explanation. Even though it's not very 'orky'

Nicely done. I like they way you painted the skin... you can see both the darker areas and the highlights. Nice.

I believe as long as they think it, it happens....So what is really going on is they have this rust bucket...but because he thinks it's clean you have to see a projected image of it's cleanliness ; )

hey there, the mek looks very nice! But as pointed out before, hed look even nicer with a little weathering. This can be easily archived by washing some devlan mud over it and painting chainmail/ mithril silver scratches over that. Or, if you want it more extreme, 50/50 some blood red and bestial brown and water that down to a wash. apply it once or twice, and wait for it to dry. Then do the mix again, but this time do not water it down, but use it a a drybrush. Youll have a great rust effect if you do some highlits to that!

LOOK!! a shameless self-promotion! (gasp!)

I am gonna go back and do some more work on him at a later point, just trying to work on some of the other models in my substantial pile of "Stuff to build and paint" for my complete army.

I agree with the weathering and have an idea with what I want to do. I just have not gone back to him yet lolz!
