Back to 40k, liking Space Marines (it's the one army that's guaranteed to not suck, ever!)

I wanted to go shooty and focus on it, since that's what I feel Codex Marines always do best, so this is the list based on what I own and what I feel brings some balance to the list.

I wanted a mix of up close and personal plus a lot of long range backup firepower. The dreads run interference once the rhinos go pop, and the Rhinos provide cover for the Vindicators which help protect the advance. Terminators can come in w/ Deep strike midfield to help out with the Hood, Null Zone, or blow someone up with the Vortex if need be.

I toyed with the idea of running Assault Terminators + Land Raider, but it seems like in the land of Melta, it's just a juicy target in an environment where everyone takes the guns to kill it.

Maybe running a 10 man Terminator team with 2 cyclone missile launchers If you can find the points for it. It'd be a serious Fu unit. Obviously you wouldnt deepstrike youd start them on the field. Maybe get rid of a dreadnaught and 2 vindicators and add anougher auto/las pred and a rhino to give to your all your tac squads rhinos you'd also have to take off the extra armor on the 1 dreadnaught but you really dont need it on it anyways.

The Extra Armour on the Dreadnoughts is an odd choice but other than that I'd say that looks like a fairly good list, with a nice balance between anti-horde and anti-tank weapons. If I were you I'd take it to the gaming table, get a handful of games played and then evaluate which units are working well and which aren't pulling their weight.

I'd drop the Assault Cannons and Extra Armor on the Dreadnoughts and put them in Drop Pods, personally.

You will find that you'll have a tough time popping tanks at range with lascannons that ar AV13 or above. On the other hand you could leave them on foot and use those points to pick up another speeder.

Other than that though, this looks like fun. I like a ton of infantry!

I would swap out the termies for assault termies, but i know you want shooty. Also i would swap out some of the sgts combi's for pw, and a pf on one. also i would trade the auto cannon for lass cannon on the predator, murders tanks. maybe get a few plasma cannons for any pesky heavy troops. Anddddddd imo land-speeders get waxed to easily, get some stern guard instead.

Assault terminators are very, very tempting, but to run them, I need to run a Land Raider, and then I've got a fat target in my list and it becomes about protecting the Land Raider, and I fear matchups where I have no good assault targets.
