Hi I want to make an EPIC marine for Shadow Legion to play as a special character maybe our evan as a new Chapter Master, but I want to give him a Unique Close Combat weapon a bit like the one in the picture below, I have a pair of walking legs like the ones in the pic, I have all the parts I need but a awesome close combat weapon!

I also need a thin, teared up cloak to give the Space Marine awesome dude. I think that I most likely would use a spare wood elf cloak and just cut off the quiver and use some greenstuff to give the cloak some sort of fur or something.

I also would like to give the marine some special unique "bling" on his armor.

I need a tutorial that would help me achieve said awesome close Combat Weapon.

You'd be hard pressed to manage a head that elaborate, but you can get some very nice effects with laminated plasticard. An overlay or two of fine piercework over a thicker core (either thicker stock or several plain laminated pieces) which can be filed/sanded into the blades would give a similar head. Just brace yourself - it will be exceedingly fiddly if you want it to have any semblance of order and/or elegance, so sketch a few designs until you find a snazzy but achievable level of intricacy, then break out the needle files, a fresh blade, some drill bits, and, if you have one, the jeweler's saw.

The techno-haft could similarly be achieved through a combination of (plastic and/or metal) rod and thicker sections of sprue or laminated plasticard. Sketch out your profiles, carve a rough shape and glue your main forms, then begin gap filling and filing/sanding to the final contour before joining to the head and adding the final elements (I'm seeing what appears to be a very fine piston, for example).

Thanks, what about Shoulder pads, I love the grey knight Terminator style do you know of a site or any way of making shoulder pads like the grey knights shoulder pads and a bit like the ones in the picture

Imo, using terminator shoulders to get that effect might be difficult.

That said, my personal suggestion (assuming you're using the above style terminator shoulders) would be to use coffee (or regular) straws to get the smooth upper shoulder part, and to carefully cut the scroll beneath the book on the shoulder off and use the scroll (and it's semicircle of the shoulder pad) as the curved lower shoulder loop.

As for the axeblade, that screams to me "plasticard" Just make the shape out and cut it with a pin vice or exacto, and use maybe a FW pule sifle for the upper part of the handle (Dunno what would be good for the beefy other end. Maybe the but stock of an ogryn ripper gun?)

Hope that helps!

Imagine the feeling when you position your tanks, engines idling, landing gear deployed for a low profile, with firing solutions along a key bottleneck. Then some fether lands a dreadnought behind them in a giant heat shielded coke can.

OK thanks I only now I realize that making the shoulder pads might be a bit out of my league at this point in time... hmm... I think what might look good as well is shoulder pads that come in two pieces with one over lapping the other... i'll post a picture of what I mean as some as possible

Good idea. Plus, iirc, terminator pads are bigger than regular ones, so they may be able to layer on top of a regular SM shoulder pad to give the effect you want.
