This may be a noobish question but what would be the easiest and safest way to glue clear plastics onto a model? My Vendettas I was able to cheat and glue the canopy pieces down ontop of the "glass" and trap it so there was no fog, and none of my other armies have had clears. The new venoms and razorwings do and no way to cheat on them so now I am force to figure it out and I don't want to experiment on these models.

There are some products on the market designed specifically for gluing clear plastic. If you check out a decent model store, they should have some.

Thats good to know.. I recently bought my first vendetta, then tried using super glue on the windows... of course it wasn't seating properly, so glue got all over the place (even though i just dabbed very little bits on it.. I had to take the 'glass' completely off the model :( which is ok, cause i spent a fair amount of time on detail in the cockpit... still...

There is a specialist cement for that. Revell make a version.
PVA will also work.
If you balls up a canopy with cement, you can try and recover it by sanding the cement off with a very fine sanding stick. Then dip the canopy in Future Klear floor polish, and let it drip dry on a kitchen towel for 24 hours.

pva type glue works. This would be the easiest method
prefer to dunk in Johnson's Klear/Future varnish and use superglue.
Never had fogging issues with Klear.

On the vendettas I just glue the pieces that attach to the nose of the craft with super glue (applied with a toothpick for control.) That let me "trap" the plastic underneath...I did the same thing with my FW Ravens.
Looks like I need to find some Johnson's Klear so super glue will work again! Where do I find it? Walmart?

Any sort of clear liquid acrylic floor polish will do. Make sure to read the lable as some floor polishes dry with a white or milky color.

It's called Futur in the States
They changed the recipe of Klear in the UK
Like Breotan said any clear acrylic floor varnish should work.
Not sure of which other brands though.

Walmart carries it.
Future Klear or whatever it is called is the one recommended by all aero modellers.
I've got my brother in Oregon to send me over a bottle since the UK formula was changed.

Automatically Appended Next Post: ps It doesn't normally cost that much.
Only desperate UK modellers spend silly money on a bottle of OOP floor varnish when there are alternatives available.
