thinking of dropping something(handgunners and something small like shields on halberdiers) for a cannon, depends on what he is fielding though, cannon wont do much if he fields a list like what he usually fields...

Well Hmm thoughts would be he will either run warriors or marauders.

If marauders your mortar will do great if warriors good luck.

What lore does your wiz have?

Thoughts he will most likely run a bsb as a hero and a lvl 2 possibly tz or shadow sorcerer if he is really crazy he may have a lvl 4 in there in which case you should worry.

Um I think you may want some more shooting since those halberd guys wont last all too long if they are going toe to toe with warriors even with the detachments help still not going to go too well.

More shooty or more cc either one but going half hearted on both wont go well.

I would say drop mortar for a cannon because you want his sorcerer gone fast and or his hero.
