So I got the new white dwarf today, and it has the first part of the sisters of battle codex. So I thought I would enlighten the good people of Dakka to the changes that it contains. Part 1 only has the special rules, and the rules for each unit. So no point costs, and no unit make ups (so don't ask).

A disclaimer: I don't play sisters, have never seen sisters, and have only skimmed the old codex. I am not very familiar with them, I'm just relaying what is in the new magazine.

Faith:
At the beginning of each turn, you roll D6. That is the amount of faith points you have for that turn [there are no more faithful units]. Any unused points are lost at the end of the turn.
When a unit wants to use a faith power, you subtract 1 faith point, and roll D6, with the following modifiers:
+1 if the unit contains a "superior" of any variety or a mistress [it lists each unit, but thats the list in a nutshell]
+1 if the unit has been joined by: a canoness, confessor, Saint Celestine, Uriah Jacobus, or Arch-Confessor Kyrinov
+1 if the unit has taken at least 1 casualty
These mods are cumulative.
If the total is less than 5, you fail and can't use the power. If it is 5 or greater, the power goes off successfully.
If an independent character joins a unit, and both the IC and unit want to use a power, it uses 2 faith points. One for the IC, one for the unit.

Shield of faith:
6+ invulnerable save. [This is something special that most "sister" units have. Sister units being SOB squads, canoness, Celestians, Seraphim, Dominion, Retributer, and ALL of the vehicles]

Units:
Canoness: she has gained one WS, and is now stubborn. Her act of faith is "the passion": +1 initiative and preferred enemy for her and the unit she is with.

Sororitas Command Squad: Celestians are included in this unit. It also has entries for Sister Dialogus (who carries a laud hailer) and Sister Hospitaller (who carries a Chirugeons tools, which I can assume from the fluff is like a narthecium, in that it grants FNP). Celestians are now down 1 initiative (to 3), but up 1 base attack (to 2). They now come standard with Bolter, bolt pistol, and Frag and krak grenades. Their act of faith is "endless crusade": they gain relentless and move through cover till the end of the turn.

Priests: There are now 2 varieties of priests: preacher and Confessor.
Preacher: these look to be similar to the priests of old, however they are now down to 1 wound (from 2), and they get flak armor.
Confessor: these appear to be upgraded preachers. They get +2 ws and bs, 3 wounds, and extra attack and ld10. Both varieties of priest grant re-rolls to hit to the unit they join on the turn they assault. Note that both priests also get Shield of faith

Ecclesiarchy Battle Conclave: This unit encompasses Arco-flagellants, crusaders and Death Cult Assassins (the other assassins seem to have been eliminated). Arco-flagellants are up 1 ws and have a bs of 3. They are down to T3, I3, and A4. They also don't have a save. Crusaders appear to be new. They are equipped with a PW and SS. Assassins are down a BS, down a W, up an I, and they still have their 5+ invuln.

Sisters Repentia: these are no longer 0-1. They now are up to A2, up to Ld8, but don't have a save (they do have shield of faith). They still have their eviscerators. Their special rules are: Fearless, FNP, fleet, rage. Their act of faith is "spirit of the martyr": models killed in the assault before they strike get a single attack at I1. They still die though.

Penitent Engine: These guys attacks are now D6+1. It also looks like they are now elites, not HS (this is the order they were printed in). They now have rage instead of that weird rule before, and they do have shield of faith. They have a rule that ignores all shaken and stunned results. They also have a rule which for each unsaved wound inflicted by the engine, it gets an additional attack. The additional ones can't get any more additional attacks. The bonus for 2 CC weapons is already in the profile.

Battle Sisters: stats unchanged. They now get bolt pistols, and frag and krak grenades for free. Their act of faith is "light of the emperor": May be used in any phase. In movement phase, allows them to automatically regroup if falling back. In assault or shooting phase, it allows re-rolls on 1's to hit. A squad can use this power in each phase if it wishes, though each time uses a faith point, and the test must be retaken.

Celestians: See the command squad entry for changes. Their act of faith is "hand of the emperor": In the assault phase they gain +1 strength and fearless.

Dominions: stats unchanged. Dominion squads now have scouts. Their act of faith is "holy fusillade": used in the shooting phase, the squads weapons are now twin-linked.

Seraphim: They have gained 1 initiative. They get to re-roll acts of faith rolls, and shield of faith rolls. A seraphim armed with 2 pistols can fire both in the shooting phase. Their act of faith is "the emperor's deliverance": used in the shooting phase, they re-roll failed to wound rolls in that phase.

Retributor: Stats unchanged. Their act of faith is "divine guidance": the units shooting gains rending.

Exorcist: these have gained smoke launchers for free. It doesn't explain how the exorcist missile launcher works, so I don't know if it has changed or not.

Rhino: Nothing different from a vanilla rhino. They do get the shield of faith though.

Immolator: It says it still has TL heavy flamers, but the special rules for them are no longer present. Smoke launchers for free too.

Special Characters:
Arch-Confessor Kyrinov: He has the same stat line as a confessor. He has both a laud hailer and a simulacrum imperialis. He has a PW which reduces the opponent to I1 the next turn. He has fearless, and grants it to units within 6". He has shield of faith.

Uriah Jacobus: He has the same stats as Kyrinov. He is stubborn, and has wargear which grants his unit +1 attack and FNP. As long as he is alive, you may re-roll your roll for faith points. He has an awesome shotgun (I'm not going to put up the whole statline, cause of IP).

Saint Celestine: She has gained 2 ws, bs, I and A, as well as frag and krak grenades.. Miraculous Intervention has changed: Reviving her is always on a 4+, and she is placed within 1" of the place she died last, with D3 wounds. If this would place her within 1" of a unit, move her the minimum distance. She acts normally in a "resurrection" turn, and doesn't count as a KP if she is on the field at the end of the game. The ardent blade now always wounds on a 4+ unless a lower roll would be required. It can also be fired as a heavy flamer now.

Well thats it. If someone beat me to this, feel free to take this down. What do you guys think?
