I think that's the only 100 point gift if im not mistaken so probably..

Spirit Swallower is pretty cool if it works with thunder stomp.
6 S6 attacks that always re-roll to hit should heal you up at the start of combat, and thunder stomp at the end should heal up a point or two that you lost during combat.

550 points is a lot for 1 model. I wouldn't add more. I'd take a big block of horrors for a level 4 (for dispels), and a herald of tzeench to do all that casting (lore master). Most likely a herald of khorne for a dispel scroll as well.

Are daemonettes any worth? cos i was planning on running a horde of letters with a horde of daemonettes but should i replace them with horrors?

Daemonettes look good on paper but in my opinion they seem kind of meh

Daemonettes are pretty sick with a herald for ASF and mindrazor. Combine with the gift that makes enemy units have to charge you and you can destroy an entire unit of even chaos warriors with ease. But I guess mindrazor makes just about any average unit into a sick killer ...

Daemonetts require magic support to really do well, otherwise against average troops they do fine, but do not excel.
