i play both tyranid (swarm army) and blood angel space marine( tactics army similar to eldar ) and the known rule is when play a swarm army with a tactics army you first need to size up the largest monster in the swarm army for tyranids maybe a few carnifex's for example from that you need large hitting weaponry such as a land raider or for you i would recommend a falcon wraith lord or war walker but that is how to deal with the monstrous creatures in an army the key to beating them is destroy the massive amounts of troops for this the best and fastest/easiest way to do so is with assault 3+ weapons and blast template weapons.
