I got it all BABY!!!! ok no not really, I'm missing the main Rebs bag, but I have emailed Mantic and considering the bulk of stuff I got I'm pretty happy.

For some reason I had a boat load of extra models, whoever packed my box must have been hitting the eggnog pretty hard at the Mantic Xmas party, I have two extra bags of plague starters, an extra enforcer bag, extra orks, extra terrain...

Oh yea and I got your dice as well! my box came with 12....

If any of my Canadian brothers want to know what I did to get the package out of customs PM me because I don't want to clog the thread with complaints about what Mantic does wrong, mainly because in this instance it worked out in my favor lol.

Anyone else seeing warped castings on the fortification battlezone sprues? On the reinforced barricade pieces it looks like they were ejected before the plastic cooled and the bottom corners are severely dimpled inwards, and the backface of the corner pillars are convex and the flanges warped inwards so that there is no way they will fit onto the walls. I'll try to get some pics tomorrow.

Mine were fine. Keep in mind with the corner pieces that there are two types. There's one with the pegs facing inwards which is meant to fit onto a corner, the other has the pegs pointing straight which is supposed to fit between two side-by-side panels.

Went through my box, only 2 bags potentially missing. Everything else is there, other than dice (which I bought faction dice anyways).

Were "Plague 2 Bag" and "Marauder 2 Bag" standard, or were those purchased add ons? I am missing both if I follow the pictures from the KS update. They are both listed as being booster bags.

So if were missing things do we contact them the KS or through other avenues?

They were the faction boosters, $20 paid add-ons.

I purchased a couple of scenery upgrade packs yesterday and on the rear of the box they bear the legend "And I miss you, like the deserts miss terrain".

I adore that aspect of Mantic.

Question: Does anyone know what size bases each model should be on?

I ask because I've only got 1 30mm base left, and a Gen 1 Plague, 3 Gen 2 Plagues, a Teraton, and a Enforcer Captain left to assemble and base...

As far as I know, the only ones on 40mm bases are: Ripper suits, Terraton, 1st Gen, 2nd Gen and Enforcer Captain. Everything else is on 25mm afaik.

Quite like the little 2-player symbol on the side of the box as well, where one of the silhouettes of the players sitting down has spikes on its back

Got my junk today, 34.8 lbs, thought it would have been heavier although i still have a good amount coming next wave (plus the extra stuff that i will be adding). They must have been running out of terrain sprues since some of my bonus ones and the accessory add-ons were noted on the invoice to be coming in 2014. The main box components for all 3 strikes were all there but they did forget to add my 5th (free) starter faction for all 3 boxes . Anywho...

Got my stuff yesterday! But the girlfriend came home earlier than planned and seen the big box of toys! I ordered the pre release stuff, missed the kickstarter. Have to say very impressed.

Models are really nice, removing mold lines now :( The faction dects are great, the cards feel good quality. Rule book is very nice as well. Just need to think of what to build with all the terrian now....decisions

I went ahead and started painting up my Warpath enforcers while I'm waiting for my box to get here... It's going to be a long two days

Just inventoried my box. Miracle of miracles, it appears that I'm just missing 2 dice and 1 Rebs-2 bag.

Are they planning to send the missing stuff with wave 2 or before?

I think they mentioned that replacements and missing parts will probably start going out in January.

I think I've ordered too much to be free of mispacks. Although, at this point... maybe they've gotten their process down this close to the end of shipping. Maybe.

I'm hoping we've ordered so much they err on the side of caution and we get lots of freebies ; p

I'm in that boat, all of mine was present and correct and got an extra Dreadball MVP.

Although my pledge was somewhat smaller than a lot of people here who sound like they need to have had special lorries delivering their stuff

Yeah probably.

As long as I get at least one of everything.out of double strike to start...

If anyone that has the terrain already could indulge me I'd appreciate it. My stuff has not come in yet and I pledged for just the $100 terrain level. What's a ballpark guess for how much table space it will cover? If I recall correctly, the terrain pledge level gets me 4 sets of terrain.

Mantic has definitely made some big strides in the right direction with the Deadzone Kickstarter!

The 'new formula' "restic" is...OK, but Mantic will never move to the 'next level' with it - they're going to really need to get a lot more 'hard plastic' in order to do that.

The terrain is very nice, and gets that 'modern SF' feel across well.

And now that they're just about done with shipping out Wave 1 pledges, I hope they step up on the customer service side of things and really get moving on fixing what looks to be a rather large amount of mistakes!

Make sure you inventory the contents of the bags as well as the bags themselves.

So far it looks like I'm missing a flying stand, one twisted/ unsalvageable teraton blade out of what I've unbagged so far and as for packnig errors I'm missing one pack of (2x human, 1x yndij)... got the other pack with 1x sorak, 1x yndij instead.

I guess one of the other issues with restic is that all of these tiny bags are hard to pack and then on top of that inside the bags themselves a manufacturing problem with a warped twisted or missing piece is more likely than it is with a hard plastic sprue.
