Hello, I very new to fantasy after spending the last year playing 40k I decided to buy either a Wood Elf or Tomb Kings box. I was going for Tomb Kings but somebody told me to go for the Wood Elves cause Tomb Kings are getting a codex next year, (I was informed about 4 months ago, NOOO) but any how love my Wood Elves got everything I need to play, codex, battle force and a lord, but even though a don't need one at this point I want to get a Dragon. I aw that the Wood Elves get dragons but no model. Want would you guys do if you where in my position? I thought about converting a High Elf Dragon because they look cooler IMHO and that I'm no good at putting together Metal Model nor am I good at painting them. what would you do?

Although dragons are not so effective in 8th addition so I hear. They seem just to work as big cannon magnets.

I would grab the DE dragon instead as it looks a bit more rugged and has a tree on its base!

Thanks for the votes and replies, but which DE dragon where you talking about? because I see three Dragons in the DE section on the Games Workshop site but I don't really see one that matches your description on, (... and has a tree in its base!) Can you post a picture of it, cause I'm not to sure which you are talking about.

Agreed Ralin, the new Dark Elf Dragon is sooo epic! Thinking of getting it for my army, as well as another block of 50 or so Spearmen
