I'm kinda into making a troll army or at least an army with the majority consisting of trolls, as I do like the Chaos Warrior models too. They're plain awesome!
So just wondering, can you be competetive with an army that consists of maybe 1 or 2 small units of Chaos Warriors and the rest would be trolls, spawns, giants etc?
I could have a hellcannon also, I adore that model and cannot wait until they Finecast it!
Also for some fast attackers I could have Warhounds I guess, since they're monsters too.

So what would you think of it?

I played against a troll army led by Throgg, and that army was definitely competetive. Try it out if you like the fluff, you won't be disappointed by how it works out.

This may help he has a particular soft spot for beasties and nasties.

Also try drogers along side with a troll horde and Throgg.
Drogers nasty stuff sick stats etc.

Trolls smash stuff chuck a lord on jugger in there and run him around with some mok knights.
Bsb in near the trolls and you are set. IMO also drogers soooo many attacks.

So, could I be competetive without having a total cheese army? I don't wanna be TFG or anything like that.. I just want it to be fun to play with and against really.

My friends troll and droger army are not really cheesey.
I mean like he has a chaos lord on a jugger running with his drogers.

Throgg and his trolls are his core and a horde of 18 trolls is nothing to laugh at since that can end units.

Maybe a hellcannon since it fits with the hey lets have beasties just in case you think your mosters will not do enough.

Maybe chuck in a dragon ogre shagoth for kicks.
