I want to go about it using the 'I'll by in bulk' angle. Because my local GW doesn't sell much. If he holds a 25% sale I buy A meganob and a space marine chaplain in TM armour. If he holds a 50% sale I buy two MANZ and a pack of Killa kans. If he holds 75% sale I buy 5 MANZ, an ork nob with waaagh banner, 3 packs of killa kans, a SM dread, a SM terminator CC sqaud, the ork codex, the SM codex, how to buld wargames terrain and the main rulebook. What do you think?
Maybe I'm just weird and an american, but...
Can you imagine walking into a Best Buy/Frys/Walmart/whatever, picking out a LED TV, Sound System and Bluray and telling the guy that you want 75% off? You would get laughed out of the store.
Also, 'buying in bulk' is not buying a couple hundred bucks in stuff. If you really wanted bulk, you'd convince
GW that you were a retailer and purchase that way.

More appropriately, if you are looking for deep discounts, you need to accept a couple things:
-
GW hardly ever discounts at the retail level.
-
NIB/
NOS is going to be max 20-30% off from internet retailers.
- E-Bay, Bartertown, Swap Shop can net you significant discounts (50-80% off retail) for non-new items. The more damage/glue/layered paint you're willing to put up with, the more discount generally.
- Also, if you are willing to buy massive lots off the internet, you can sometimes get REALLY good deals (50+% off for complete armies that are well put together and comprehensive is not unheard of).
