Subject: Forge World replacement order miscast... What to do?

Alright, so I had bought a Tamurkhan on Toad Dragon model from FW in June and finally got it mid July, but it had some miscasts such as a front tusk missing, 2 claws, and line around the model where it was a complete shift, as in the top half was farther out than the bottom half on one side, and the opposite on the other side. So I called them last thursday and did as I was instructed etc etc. They sent me a new one and it just got here (before I go any further I must say I was very pleased with the customer service and how quickly it arrived), but of course it has the same exact line, the same tusk broken off (though the tusk is in the bag this time), and 7 claws missing. What would you do? On one hand its a free model, and I can probably fix them and move on. But on the other hand, its a very expensive model, and when paying so much I would expect there to be little to no flaw, especially considering it was a replacement order because of those flaws. So I'm stuck, part of me wants to send em another email, but the other part of me says to let it go. Thoughts?

I'd take pictures and e-mail again. If you really feel like you've cheated them, you could send one or both of them back in exchange for yet another one.

I don't really feel like I'm cheating them, because I have paid for the model, and merely expect something that isn't a miscast with missing parts. Especially when the replacement is worse than the original.

It's not, though. It's a replacement for the faulty model they sent you the first time. If it has the same faults, it's every bit as faulty as the first, and you still haven't received what you paid for.
So you're well within your rights to go back to them and ask for them to sort it out.
Most definitely stay polite about it, though. It seems to be a rule of the universe that if you have two faulty items, the same person is very likely going to wind up with both of them. And if it's a problem with the actual casting process, reporting each and every case of it is going to help get it dealt with that much sooner.

This is the best post to work from here.
Especially the part about "problem with the actual casting process".
While you may feel like you got screwed over, you're helping prevent someone else from having to go through what you're going through.

call them. Calmly and politely explain to them what's going on and advise them that it looks like a flaw in the mold or process. They will get it straight for you. Be prepared to ship the flawed pieces back to them. In fact offer to do so (it's on them to send you return packaging and slips.
Despite what the forum trolls and haters generally say, FW are quality people.

Despite what you just said, in every single thread that occurs for this situation, it's quickly pointed out that both GWS and FW, despite their shortcomings, have top-notch customer service and for issues like this have a nearly unblemished track record of fast, hassle free replacements.
If they shipped you a broken, incomplete model, and then sent you a broken, incomplete replacement, you are well within expectations to call again and ask for either what you paid for, or your money back. They charge Tiffany prices so don't settle for K-Mart service. I'm confident they will take care of you quickly and professionally.

i would call them and ship both flawed models back and ask for once again a new one you deserve what you paid for i wouldnt go to a diner and get a half eaten burger and pay for it so neither should you on a note ...When i started my SOB i bought two boxes of Seraphrims and one of the boxes had no jump packs i called them gave them the code number on the box and they just straight up shipped me a whole new box and didnt even ask for the default product back this was just GW, So i imagine Forge world will follow suit.

Pictures of the models side by side showing the same flaws should be more than enough for them to see the issue you're experiencing. As others have said FW service is top notch and as this is clearly an issue with the castings I'm sure they'll do their best to sort out a suitable replacement.
