I was in thought about making a British themed Imperial guard army and the queens guard came to mind as a possible scheme black trousers with a red stripe running down on the outer sides , black cuffs on the arms, red coats, white bellts with golden buckles, maybe a white stripe below the belt where the guardsmens tunic parts on the edge, and the colour of the armour is beyond me maybe gold or a royal blue im not sure so suggestions are great

Now The main Subject and most pressing issue in my mind is would a rough rider being represented as a brit in a willys jeep be ridicoulous considering the size of the model .. however i would get a jeep slightly smaller than proportionately correct compared to a guarsdmen but not so small it would look akward and stupid i just think it would be way to cool

Hmm jeeps could be considered as two riders side by side for blast template/cc sake

So your saying i put a guy in the side seat and declare it as two models ?
or Just say that if your template covers both halves it is a double hit ?

What does a vehicle has to do with a horse? Never seen a jeep lance charge. Or a Jeep on a cavalry base.

Either do some conversion with Westwind Tommy helmet heads or go Praetorians:

It has absolutely nothing to do with a horse and no i have not seen a jeep preform a lance charge but somehow i think it would be suiting and it would span a double wide cav base and count as two models probably with a removable passenger so if 1 dies off then it can be removed.

Jeeps are great for Sentinels or Salamanders, but as rough riders I don't really buy it.

I would think a motorcycle would be a better representation. That I could actually see fitting on a cav base.

Granted that is a german bike, but sans side car, that would look great.

I think they'd be better as a Salamander, or using the rules for the Forgeworld Tauros vehicles.

You could still, of course, do some Household Cavalry as rough riders. Plenty of horses standing around with soldiers on top in London....

I'd have to second SRM there, I'd go for a Salamander or Scout Sentinel instead of rough riders.
Great idea though and I do so love a Willy. Hehehe...*

Motorcycle would do, and that has been done before (see maxmini bike).
Elysians have a fourwheel car, even a sixwheeler. That's the only chance I see.

I agree, they'd work a lot better as Sentinels. Besides why are you taking Rough Riders when Vendetta are in the same slot?

Hate to bring you the news, but the Jeep is a pure US vehicle, designed and build in the USA, even if the British Army used some in dire times..
Land Rovers are British, Daimler Dingo and similar scout cars are British, but the Jeep is a US icon.

I would be a bit 'eeeh' about my opponent using jeeps as sentinels... For LOS reasons it's a bit dodgy.

Link is not working, but every Jeep used by the British Army was built in USA and then shipped:

Maybe you want to add Sherman tanks to increase the British look of your army

Now, now - we all know that in a US-themed army, all Abrams tanks have to have their main guns removed, seeing that they're licensed products from Britain and Germany.
