Nicely done, and a great video! The pace was fast and the music kept my attention.

Btw, also good to see a fellow Infinity face

Quick question, because it was kinda hard to tell due to the high pace of the vid:

Do you use the oil paints to aply a sort of "wash" only on the base and the metallic bits? Or do you also use them on the airbrushed blades as well?

The boy, I say, the boy is as sharp as a sack of wet mice...

Thanks man - I ordered a JSA box for my younger sister in Thailand and now planning to make a tutorial video for a complete noob.
Will be posting that in the main forum once finished.

Not on the blades because I wanted to keep the white as is - so by applying wash on it, it'll become dull and not as glowy as I intended for it to be.

Also - unless you want to alter the color of the surface, I don't really use wash on flat surface much.

Can you maybe re-upload it? I can't watch the vid here in Germany, because there's some sort of copyright infringement because of the music...

Or has anyone an idea, how I can mask my country on youtube?

Thank you! Well - you know it's not that expensive to start an airbrush system

I'll be a very good investment, I can guarantee that!

Hey man - now I realize that so I try to use music that are individually produced .... if you guys have any tip on checking the copyright status of a song please let me know

As for this tutorial - the speed is really fast and I don't like the POV style because with the increased speed the camera moves around a lot.
I have 5 more GK termies in my collection waiting to be painted so I'll make a new tutorial when I can

For now, check this out

Now I use PS900 (thanks MajorTom) for my acrylic work
and Iwata HP CS for my lacquer work

Let me rant a little

MY personal feeling towards PS900 is that it's a really great airbrush and VERY well designed (or well replicated... uh?)
I still think that Iwata is more solid in terms of quality, but heck... I only paid 70NZD for the airbrush + shipping from Canada to NZ... that's half the price I
paid for my Iwata Eclipse in Thailand (the RPP price of airbrushes in NZ is just ridiculous... I paid about 100USD in Thailand, but in NZ an Iwata HP CS is around

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Art/Art-supplies-equipment/Other/auction-403356242.htm ...... thats 327 USD guys....
Compared with exactly the same airbrush set that I got off Iwata authorized dealer in Thailand for only 100~ USD.....

URGH?

Glad you liked it man - sadly you couldn't watch the tutorial.

I really love Infected Mushroom (music) but seems like I'll have to be more careful with copyrighted music next time.

Do you have a facebook so we can get in touch?

Thanks for the suggestion man - I'm seriously thinking about narrating more so I don't have to put a lot of time into adding subtitles in the video (which takes ages sometime)

At first I didn't really want to do it that much because frankly, it's the first time that I've heard myself talking on youtube and I was like "Geez! I thought I had no accent!" lol
