So I've got the Skull Pass Orks and picked up some cheap Kan and Dred frames. Decided that the general theme will be infantry with walker support, with many walkers converted from vehicle kits to give the impression that the Meks have cannibalised everything they can get their hands on to build a legion of stomping stuff.

There's space for a few tanks and suchlike, that'll have weapons, wreckers and rollers mounted on Dread torsos. I love the Grot Tanks as well, have to have some of them. But generally it's all about being as stompy as possible. I've gleaned from past conversations that Kans with Rokkits are a good choice, and Dreads should be made choppy. Gitsnik will be handy to add some encircling ability to an army of slugs. What other units should be high on the shopping list?

I think some Kommandos as late generation hybrids would fit in well. Still footsloggers, but adding more to the genestealer side of things with the infiltration.

Snikrot with kommandos is always a great way to keep you enemy scared of the board edge.

If you are into the Dredd Mob idea, grab a copy of IA:8. There is a codex in there specifically for all dredds all the time. I am building it up myself and am having a blast with the conversions. Going to be starting the Dreadknight to Megadredd tonight!

I've had a gander though IA8 and liked what I saw, there's definitely scope for me to do an army that could be Codex or Dread Mob.
