The necron list is on the right track, but the lord is never going to see melee combat if you play him right (VoD prevents you from assaulting that turn, and he's probably going to end up VoDing every turn), you're better off keeping his shooting attack from the staff (keep in mind that the SoL is still a power weapon in melee).

Comments and advice would be greatly appreciated on the other two lists as well.

Im not much of a GK player although i do love purifier spam.

Well, Necros dont really win. at least at my local shop non of the players win. althought there love for necrons is crazy.

The Blood angels army is meh.

The Special HQ doesnt belong in this list.

Switch him for a mephy and get rid of the chaplin for a librarian.

i see no need for 3 chaplins. i dont see a need for any chaplins. swtich those for some priests. with the freed up points add a honour guard with 2x melta.

Your low on bodies 25 marines is to low and get a few power fists in there. Drop melta bombs add special weapons to the units. get a few melta guns in there and a flamer or 2.

vanguard vets are awesome. drop the lighting claw off the serg, give him a power fist. rule of thumb all 3 with melta or none. id drop all the power weapons to just 1. so it would look like this 1x pf 1x pw 3x melta bombs.

Vindicators are out of place in this list. if you really need heavy support take devastators with MLS or a few Predators.

Astorath is there because he gives me a 50% chance on each squad to get furious charge and fearless. The Chaplains are all there to help me get re-rolls on my assault squads and give 'em fearless. The Vindicators are there for the Large templates and since they are fast in Blood Angels they can move 12" and fire their big ole' rape cannon. Although I agree I can ditch the Reclusiarch and the other chaplains, tho It seemed to fit to have a bunch of chaplains in the army since I already had Astorath.

To be honest, I hate the Blood Angels list. Here are the problems as I see it:

1. You have three vehicles which have giant "Kill Me" signs on them in the best of circumstances. You compound this problem by giving your opponent no other vehicles. Vindicators can be great, if you use their high target priority to buy time for the rest of your force to do its job, and support them with a Shield using Librarian. Here, you simply give your opponent effective targets for their anti-tank.

2. You have no anti-tank besides the Vindicators. Yeah, you can threaten vehicles in CC, but how will you catch transports? Hitting on 6's with Meltabombs doesn't sound like fun. You don't even have Power Fists! Have fun when you get charged by a Blood Talon Furioso.

3. All that infantry is fragile without FNP. Small squads means you can easily lose the Sergeant due to bad luck as well.

4. You blow almost 30% of your list on ICs that don't add much to the list. Being able to re-roll to hit doesn't make those Assault Squads live longer when they get shot, and it only slightly helps against vehicles.

5. Assuming the points you list are correct, you're 180 over the 2500 limit.

I don't intend to be mean, but I would gladly face this list with my 2000 point mech BA list. If I get first turn, you are completely screwed. The Vindicators die, and then you don't have a prayer of making me get out of my Razorbacks. If you go first, it would be a closer contest, but I'd be spotting you 680 points.

What you need to do:

1. Dump the Vindicators. Don't give your opponent a single target for his anti-tank

2. Max out the bodies in the Assault Squads, and give them special weapons, mostly Meltaguns. I'd upgrade to Power Fists too.

3. Cut way back on the Chaplains, and get some Chalices into the list. An Honor Guard or two with special weapons would be nice.

4. Consider taking 3 squads of Missile Devastators if you want fire support. You can run a naked Priest with them to help them live.

That BA list is... well, bad. Not enough bodies to flood the field, and vindicators just don't mesh right with an all jump army. I'd recommend completely starting from scratch with that one.

The draigo list needs more Paladins overall; I'd recommend cutting the ravens for 3 psydreads or more pallies.

The Necron list looks pretty good! nothing to complain about there

Astrorath is a waste of points for a 50% chance. fearless is meh they have atsknf rule. furios charge and FNP at a cheap cost with priests. you should worry about your units getting close enough to your enemy.

Alrite, well I couldn't afford meltaguns, but I feel like they aren't completely necessary considering I have krak grenades and decent amounts of powerfists in there. I also have Mephiston who easily tears up a vehicle and can last awhile.

Or should I drop the powerfists and get power weapons and meltaguns? Or get lots o' meltabombs?

The BA list is certainly better now. You have more bodies and FNP.

The problem with relying on CC to deal with vehicles is that you diminish the unit's threat range and are very weak to Fast vehicles. A (Jumping) unit with Meltaguns can threaten vehicles within 24", while one relying on CC can only threaten within 18", less if you have to charge through terrain. In addition, the Meltagun unit can have multiple attempts at a vehicle, since they might be able to charge it if they miss or whatever. Finally, Meltaguns will help a bit against truely scary CC units (like GK Terminators with Halberds) that are otherwise suicide to charge.

The good news is that you could have a pretty good list with a few changes. You say you don't have the points for Meltaguns, but you have 9 Sanguinary Priests. Why not try taking 4, which saves 375 points. Remember, you shouldn't put Priests in the VV squads, as they can't use Heroic Intervention if an IC has joined them. With the 375, you can add 6 Meltaguns and 3 Flamers, leaving you with 300. I'd use 125 to take a Librarian with a Jump Pack, and use the rest to beef up the remaining Assault Squads. Another option would be upgrading a Priest to an Honor Guard with JPs and 4 special weapons.

One last thing: Make sure each VV squad has a Power Fist so they can threaten vehicles. I'd drop a Power Weapon to do it, and remember that you can upgrade the Sergeant's Power Weapon to a Fist for 10 points.

Alright I am still playing with grey knights, and never have played a necron army so no comments there, but blood angels I have noticed a few things. First off Mephiston while a beast at this point level will come down and get the entire anti tank fire of your opponent. He can't hide in a squad, psy defence which everyone will have to stop the knew GK armies, will hamper his mobility. With most tournies also having little terrain and you not having a los blocking model in your own force, he is going to get hit hard and fast as he walks on from your table edge or starts on the board. I would suggest a Regular librarian with jump pack in one of your larger assault squads. The one ability I would say is a must take is unleash rage. Now your list has 9 priests, and only 9 squads, 10 if you count mephy. You attach him to your VV they lose HI so I wouldn't put them there. You should be able with good movement to use 3 of them to FNP and FC most of your army. Another thought is the Sanginor fits the DOA theme and his +1 attack bubble and sgt upgrade could be quite useful. As always ymmv.

I have 9 Troop Squads(6 Combat Squads) each one is going with another priest. Mephiston is going to be sticking with one of the combat squads. I suppose I can still drop one priest for 75pts and drop 3 Power Weapons from the VV squads to get Powerfists, leaving me 90pts for meltaguns.

and Mephiston can hide in squads, or at least I'm pretty sure he is an IC

^ This. I don't get the 5man squads... If they all had razorbacks sure, but they don't. All that does is scream to your opponent "FREE KILL POINT!" One volley from a 4xML devastator squad or a decently powerful blast template will ruin those small squads day (particle whip comes to mind, not that you'd actually see one XD).

I agree completely with the idea of dropping some of the priests. If you take those 3 5man squads and turn that into another 10man squad, you can put a priest with each, and then spend the other points on some heavy support. Either a 4xml devastator squad or two (i'd highly suggest this route), or go for some mech (though you don't want to rely on them since you don't have any other targets, so try and keep it cheap, preds or dreads probably). If you do go the devastator squad route, my personal recommendation is to fill out the squad. I know a lot of people favor the 2x 5man devastator, but I've seen that explode in T1 so amazingly easy its not even funny. Giving them the extra 5 marines will force your enemy to either commit far more firepower than they want to to kill it, or will keep them alive long enough for them to do some damage.

Also, as others have said, melta is useful for far more than killing tanks (it IS an s8 ap1 hit at 12in and assault XD)

Mephiston is not an IC. He is a single model unit. He may not join a squad, and ICs may not join him, as ICs are not allowed to join units of infantry comprised of a single model.

Also, you do not need a Priest in every 5 man squad. You can easily keep several squads within 6" of a Priest, which is all you need for the Chalice to work.

Alright I ditched Mephiston for Dante. I took (everyone's) the advice and now I'm down to 4 Priests. I took down the 3x 5 Assault Squads and got 3 squads of Sanguinary Guards. I ditched 2 VV squads in favor of one mega squad. This way I can jump in, still split into combat squads and have a better chance of more guys down in Deep Striking. I also took 2 squads of ML Devs as well.

Anything else?

Off Topic what do you think of the idea of:

Making a super assault squad. It will consist of Dante, Sanguinary Guard w/ Chapter Banner, Astorath, 2 Chaplains, and 3 Sanguinary Priests.

I intend on having them deep strike so that they can run into cover. Everyone will have a power weapon in some form or another. On a charge they will have a total of 52 power weapon(I would definitely upgrade for PwrWpns) hitting at Str5 Initiative 5 at the lowest.

FCK YEAH!

The current BA list is decent. I'd trade the Power Weapons from the VV squad to get a couple of Infernus Pistols into a Sanguinary Guard unit, to better use Dante's no-scatter ability.

That squad would hit like a truck no doubt, only real issue with it is that is 1200 pts and if I saw it, i would be sending 1800 pts of shooting at it, with only 4 models with invul, it is going to take hell from anything ap2 or 1.

Is the Angels list all deep striking where possible? I wouldn't take Sanguinary Guard as they're just going to get railed by AP2 etc and die very, very quickly.
