Well. Umm. What?
That may just be the worst paintjob I've ever seen on a professionally produced show off piece.

There's nothing wrong with the paintjob from a technical POV. The miniature is quite strange and quirky, but I don't think the painter did anything particularly wrong.

Disturbing. I would be interested to see if painting the face in more animalistic tones with maybe slitted eyes would reduce the "human" effect and make it look more feline and less simian. Are there two face options? Looks as though one has a toothless top jaw.
And not to threadjack, but how did I miss this?

Yes, I was worried about casting out the bottom teeth, so wanted to do them separate, and decided the best way would be to do the whole face. Then, on the main part, I thought it would be cooler to have an alternate face instead of just a blank area.

On the one hand, it kind of reminds me of the ridiculous sasquatch/abominable snowman/bigfoot/whatever monster from the movie "Abominable", which was... uh... well... it was a movie, all right. It was a Sci-Fi Channel Original Movie, which says it all.
On the other hand, there's something about this mini that I find deeply disturbing. It's not necessarily a bad thing.

Well, the less-anthropomorphic face is actually a lot cooler. The overlay for the more human face is... yes, disturbing.
Might you have a pic of the painted base model without the human-looking overlay, Curtis?
