I had a few questions regarding starcraft 2, I really like RTS games so I was wondering if this one is anywhere near as good as the first, is it as balanced? I presume the multiplayer is going to be filled with players that are REALLY good, I had the fortune of always getting stomped in the original by people who played the game religiously, so is multiplayer like this in this one as well, and if I can play DoW2 will this run as well?

If you liked the original, you will like 2. The game is really good and is different enough to feel like a new game but true enough to the old one that you can pick it right up.

As far as balanced they hit it right on. Every unit has a hard counter, so you won't have an invincible build or unit that just can't be beaten, it is all up to whether or not you can outsmart your opponent's strategy.

Requirements are similar to DoW2, you'll be able to run it fine.

As far as the net, they did a good job with the League system. You will be placed into a league based on your performance in qualifier games (I believe it is a set of 5 games if I remember right). After that you will compete against opponents with a similar skill level as you.

I'd recommend it, I know there are others that hate it, but like I said, if you liked the original, this was a great addition to the series.

It's as good or better than the first.

Blizzard made the game. The balance is still teetering around but it's damn close right now, there is no "Best race" unless it fits your playstyle.

Ladder play now uses a ranking system, after the system figures out where to place you, around 5-10 games later you should be planted in your skill level.
