We do not require any chapter or rank specific armour to be worn, neither are we worrying about colours. What's a lick of paint between Astartes?
Our crusade begins on the 9th which provides plenty of time for the campaign to be played for training purposes and to make sure everyone gets the game. It's okay if you get the game after the 9th!

Back on topic... we are by far the largest Chapter available on the official forums(70ish members and growing daily, most other Chapters have around 10). Joining us will go a long way to guaranteeing you will have someone to play with 24/7. Everyone conducts themselves in a mature manner and is eagerly waiting for the release.

The point I was bringing across however wasn't flaming, I'm just saying that setting up a group of players, and limiting them to one chapter in a game with a huge ass customizer seems a little... weird.

We are only joining under the banner of the Black Templars due to the choice of the founder, we are being relaxed in what armour is allowed to be used (bar chaos) as casey has stated in the first post! We also have built a sworn enemy chapter going by the name of 'the vile Crusade' that traitors are welcome to join.

The main point in having a decent group of gamers so we are good for games at any time with a bit of fluffy thrown into the fray for fun too.

Hey Sion, thanks for coming along. Doesn't seem to be much interest but we'll see what happens over the next few days. I think Blayne is going to come on to Dakka to see if we get any responses. Fingers crossed on some positive answers soon, and hopefully some sign ups.

I was tempted until i had a deja-vu moment from trying to join guilds in WoW many years ago that had recruitment settings very similar....
(pretty much anything that requires more then an in game "yo can i join your guild?" and i loose interest)

That's a shame. It's really not that difficult to do and it doesn't take long. I was the same as you with WoW guilds. We have no idea how the in game set up will be for 'guilds' as of yet, it will probably be non-existent. If that's the case you may have to go through a similar process to find a group. If you change your mind you could probably speed up the process by doing steps 1 and 3 only.

Easy fix - edit your OP and your sign up thread as well if needed (blocked from work) and reword it as a Loyalist Crusade force that happens to be led by the Templars.

You know what an old-school RT-era crusade force is, right?

AS interesting as this could be I dont see very many people joining. However I would if it wasnt for the following:

I have no idea when I shall be getting Space Marine, could be next month or next year.

Im going to be a Chaos Marine player, since my 1st 40k army was Chaos Marines(still no idea what class though).

If I was planning on going with the Xbox version of the game, Im slowly becoming a PC gamer.

An old-school crusade force was pretty much a bunch of different space marine chapters contributing a smaller or larger force to a battle/war. It was GW (of the day) pretty much saying "if you want to paint a squad each from 5 different chapters and play them together as one army, that's cool, and here it is in the fluff." Which would work for the SM group you're putting together here.

Am I interested? I'll check out the link. To be frank, it would depend on the maturity of the players.

Maturity levels are impressive considering the quantity of people who have joined. I was very surprised, like you i would not have joined if the group was full of immature and petty users. I haven't seen any i don't think. Enjoy.
