Title says it all, any suggestions? Need to remove greenstuff from a failed conversion on a metal model.

if it is a metal model, get some acetone, rubber gloves, an old tooth brush and a glass jar.

Put the mini in the jar, pour enough acetone to cover it, cap the jar. Let the mini sit for 24 hours and EVERYTHING will come off that mini.

Fish the mini out with some rubber gloves, use an old tooth brush to remove all the gunk, rinse with water and let dry.

Not sure of anything that will eat GS or even soften it, but you could try dunking it in Purple Power/CSC. I usually pick mine off with a hobby knife if it's on metal, using fine grit sandpaper to remove any leftover specks.

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell

Its soaking in super clean right now in a heated supersonic cleaner. If that doesn't work i am going the acetone route.

Update: Warm Superclean softens GS up and then it peels of rather easily.

+1 for just peeling it off once it is dry.

It was to thick to peel, plus it was in the crevasses on the back of the 1st ed hive tyrant. So peeling was right out.

peel it out with your hands, if its in a crevasse, pick it out with a knife. Green Stuff doesn't exactly bond to anything. I've pulled GS off of metal and plastic models plenty of times before, no problem.
