Death-Dealing Ultramarine Devastator

Hey Dakka,
I wasnt sure where to put this so I put it general. Seemed like a good idea. So I want to buy some Sternguard. 5 to start with. My options are the regular finecast sternguard pack from GW for 85NZD (I live in New Zealand) or I could get the MKlll Iron Armor pack from forge world for £20.40 which converts to 40NZD. The MKlll doesnt come with bolters but I have many spare ones or I could get the phobos pattern bolter pack for £10. The question is: Are the GW sternguard worth more than double the MKlll models? I really like the MKlll so Ill probably go with them and if your a sternguard veteran you should probably wearing old as armor anyways.

Considering you already really like the MKII guys and they're significantly cheaper, I'm pretty sure you've answered your own question with this one.

Yea true. The GW models do have quite a lot of extra detail and posing but I think I will stick with the MKlll dudes. Might even get 10!

It's the same as in AUS quite possibly the only perk of the price hike.
I ordered an eldar lynx for little over a land raider, i think it was like $15 dollars difference
OT get the MKIII they look awesome, if your ordering them maybe order some of these for them? It'd make for quite convinving sternguard http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Warhammer-40000/Space_Marines/Space_Marine-Infantry-Accessories/SPACE-MARINE-BOLTER---UMBRA-FERROX-X10.html

True, it's not much difference, but it is less.
And, when bought from Oz or NZ, it's a lot.
