The title says it all, has anyone ever, EVER used the imperator Titan in a game?
If so, how did it go?

I have only watched a game that involved a titan.

The titan was wrecking house.

Imperator? No.

Chaos Warhound? Yes, and my Eldar Farseer blew it up after a hell of alot of help from his S.Scorpions and a Space Wolf ally putting his Long Fangs and Preds to task as well. Of course this was all back in 3rd.

I've played an apoc game with a Chaos Reaver on my side. In the last turn, the integrity of the imperial forces facing us shot at the titan to take its last structure point, but failed to do so, much to everyone's regret. It didn't actually do as well as one might expect. It shot down 4 terminators, immobilized a LR, blew up a rhino and severely damaged a baneblade. My avatar did more.

I like to imagine the Emperor kills so many Orks that he ends up half buried beneath a pile of corpses, with only his head sticking out. A lone grot stumbles across him, and starts choking him.

Then Horus comes across the lone grot, somehow managing to kill the Emperor, and punts it into space.

No but I have the Datasheet. And know exactly what to arm it with.Vengeance Cannon,Hellstorm Cannon,3 vortex missiles and 3 melta cannons.

BTW it isn't actually named an Imperator(or Warmonger for that matter)in-game.Just in fluff. In game it is simply an Emperor Battle Titan.

No, but if I did, I think it'd be so big, I'd have to get somebody to dress up in a costume and use bits of plastic drain-pipe for guns!

In the frozen land of Nador they were forced to eat Robin’s minstrels. And there was much rejoicing.

If my calculations are correct,it should stand 38.5ish" tall. The warlord should stand 28.

Why Melta Cannons? Why not Volcano Cannons? Is there any advantage of the Melta I don't see?

Back to topic - I own one. In Epic. It is sooo much better than a mere warlord, although for important games I'd replace it with some warhound squadrons.

OK - so maybe use a dwarf then (are we allowed to call them dwarfs in these pc days?) or a small (well behaved) child.

They have the same range and blast size, but the Melta has AP1,and can easily pierce vehicles, with 3D6+10 vs the hole,2D6+10 vs the template.
