Hi! I like Mordheim, and I have built a skaven warband. I would like to have another warband, and I have decided to build an army that contrasts with the skaven "uglyness" and style. So I have settled with a female human warband. Maybe Marienburgers, for the aristocratic and wealthy theme. Any female army with a theme, buit of delicate ladies will do.

The problem is I have been spoilt by Games Workshop modelling-wise. But they have no suitable miniatures in their range that I have found. I have some solid greenstuff skills, and I am capable to do some minor and standard conversions. Not sculpting parts from scratch besides some wings, fur, skulls, tabards... however.

In order of prefference, I want them to be:

1) 28mm fantasy aristocratic females.
2) plastic, not metal or soft resin. That is important for me.
3) Cheap. I would not like 15 models of this warband to cost over 60$
4) Easily available. I usually order from Maelstrom, and would like the miniatures to be carried by them.

The main problem is many of the manufacturers do not list the material their miniatures are made of, nor do they list any specifications on their models.

Can any of you with more experience when buying outside Games Workshop give me a hand? Is there any miniature range in Games Workshop I have missed which adheres to my requests?
Thank you in advance.

Nothing comes to mind, aristocratic females? You're going to have to hunt around some obscure manufacturers and you will almost certainly have to compromise on the plastic thing. Most miniatures are still made in metal, especially the obscure things.

Shadowforge do a lot of female figures.

Like this, in the Laughing Monk range.

I intend to build a femenine warband. And sisters of sigmar models are not femenine at all. I'd like to keep it with a more urban theme than Amazons.

Aristocratic females was my first choice, but honestly, ı am open to any all female warband which does not present women as brutes. If rich maidens are not an option, any female adventurers suggested will be welcomed, as long as they fit my other conditions to a minimum extent.

Tre Manor (at Red Box Games) has some really well done female sculpts, but I'm not sure there are enough of any one type for an entire war band. He's doing a $2 off sale (per model) as well, I think. He's a super nice guy, and his sculpts are generally fantastic. If I was playing Mordheim, his dwarfs would be my war band in a second.

I'd also second Red Box Games' models. They are metal, though.

Some Eldar/Elf ladies might be suitable, especially with head swaps (or just hats to hide those pointy ears). Removing a few mm at the waist might help them look more humaly proportioned too.
