my friends and I started going to each others house to paint and play 40k for a few months and then I said are you guys coming to my place for a Nerdfest? since then the term nerdfest has stuck when referring to our gaming days, when I started on dakka I wanted each of us to stay true to the Nerdfest so I chose nerdfest and my fav number and just popped them together! my best mate is also on Dakka and he's Nerdfest10, and my other mate Nerdfest01 will join soon I hope!

Gailbraithe is a derivation of Gilbreath, a lowlands Scottish clan. It was the surname of a D&D character I played for years, Kinnaed Gailbraithe.

My was a Spin off of a Family of Character I used to play in my RPG and my MMORPG of the Reeves family, Thus the first was Eric, Second was Alaster, then my best friend and I both starting linking character name as we would be the brother's Grimm. So I made Alaster into Alastergrimm. Thus a horrible chain of events was started.....

Mine is mainly from my RPG games, Lord Wynne. But it was re-born in my Army time (21 years) as I never stopped and always finished what I did.

My username came from me bashing the left side of my keyboard and having bwar come out in the middle of a bunch of jumbled letters.

I thought you were Gwar!s friend (maybe you are, but it's coincidental)! Anyways, for me, i just chose the eldar craftworld I paint / play with (Yme-Loc), what friend peoples sometimes like to call me at school (Squirrel, sometimes red squirrel), and a lucky number of mine (from when i was 5), which turned out to be 16 squared.

A friend of mine thought that mandarin oranges were actually called mandalorian oranges, and that's where the name came from in star wars, I made a picture of a jango fett orange and then it stuck

Mine comes from about 10 years ago when I first picked up on the whole '1337' thing. Around the same time, I was trying to get Oni to run on my PC. I never managed to get the game running, but I did think about the word oni in leet-speak, got thinking and swapped the Z for an X, since I thought it looked cooler, like xylophone and added an 'e' so it read how I was pronouncing it in my head.

For a while I used 'One' as a surname of sorts for my online persona, but I grew tired of it and dropped it. Then one day I found somebody else had already registered Xeroen on ebay, so I changed the letters of my real-life first name to make Shayle, which I use where Xeroen on its own is already taken. A whole one website - ebay.

Ok: Long, long, long ago, when I was 8 or something, we used to do all this role-playing stuff. We were foods. My best friend was a nacho (now he's a BMXer) and I was... you guessed it: a cheese.

I was playing on my brothers Xbox live account (afrowman (we both really have afros)) and I decided I needed to make my own. Suicidal Cheese was an awesome name, but it was already taken.


That's how I became Suicidal Cheez and I still am ever since. There's even a song named after me (well actually it's "suicide doors" insted of "suicidal" but okay).


If I would change my XBOX Live name, it would be 'Quickscopers Suck'. Quickscoping is a very overhyped Call of Duty tecnique and people who do it think they are very skilled and good.

I made my living playing guitars for a long time. I also take care of guitars more than I take care of anything else in my life. Being an Eldar geeker I decided that not only am I a guardian of guitars, but I am the self-appointed guitardian. It's pretty much just an ego trip about the two things I like to do combined into one word.
